Opera has released a beta version of a browser designed to explore the emerging crypto Web3 ecosystem of cryptocurrencies , decentralized applications (dApps), and metaverse platforms . Among the features of the platform, which has advanced to other competitors such as Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome , is a wallet for crypto assets .

The Norwegian company has called Crypto Browser Project designed for both natives and those curious about cryptographic technology. The beta version is now available for Windows, Mac and Android.
Main functionalities of the browser
The browser includes a news and data aggregator, called Crypto Corner, with key information from the crypto world: cryptocurrency prices and gas rates, specialized events, launches and even podcasts .
Among other features, it also has direct access to trading , Web3 -based NFTs –singularized assets through blockchain– and dApps for games, and integrated support for Telegram and Twitter in the sidebar of the window.
Built-in crypto wallet
In addition, the browser includes a non-custodial wallet that, in beta, will support Ethereum and will soon expand interoperability between major networks and domain name systems thanks to agreements with Polygon, Solana, Nervos, Celo, Unstoppable Domains, Handshake and ENS.
The wallet supports both ERC-20 fungible and non-fungible standards, including ERC-721 tokens with ERC-1155 coming in Q1 2022. It also allows users to purchase cryptocurrencies for direct exchange between digital currencies. Users will also be able to check their crypto balance and even access a built-in NFT gallery .
